TELEMETRY GOLFTerms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Telemetry Golf Inc., Hong Kong SAR ("we", "us") for using Telemetry Golf: the app at app.telemetrygolf.com and the website at www.telemetrygolf.com (together, "the service"). By using the service or creating an account, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
1. The service, and the beta
Telemetry Golf shows, simulates and analyses shots from supported golf launch monitors. It's in beta: features change, and it may be unavailable or have bugs. We may change, suspend or stop any part of it; if we stop the service altogether, we'll give reasonable notice and a way to export your data.
2. Accounts
You need to be 16 or older (or the minimum age where you live, if higher) to create an account. Keep access to your email secure: signing in is by a link sent there. You're responsible for what happens in your account, including players you add.
3. Your data
Your shots and other content stay yours. You give us the permission we need to store, process and show them to run the service for you (and to your friends, where you choose to share). We may use anonymised, aggregated statistics that can't identify you to improve our models and features. You can export or delete your data at any time (menu → Manage Data). On the free plan, shot history is kept for a rolling 30 days; see Plus below.
4. Plus subscription
- Plus is sold through Stripe's Link as merchant of record (the seller), which handles checkout, payment, tax and receipts under its own terms. Prices are shown before you buy, including any tax.
- It renews automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel any time from the app (menu → Your plan → Manage subscription); Plus then runs to the end of the period you paid for.
- After Plus ends, your account moves to the free plan. We keep history beyond the free 30-day window for another 30 days, then delete it.
- Refunds follow Link's refund terms and the law where you live; nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.
- If we change the price, we'll tell you in advance and it applies from your next renewal.
5. Launch monitors and accuracy
Telemetry Golf connects to your launch monitor over Bluetooth. We're not affiliated with or endorsed by Square Golf, Garmin or any device maker, and their names are trademarks of their owners. Ball and club data come from your device. Carry, roll, total and anything simulated are estimates from our models, and analytics and suggestions are for practice and entertainment, not professional advice. Make sure your space is safe to hit in; we're not responsible for injury or damage from practising.
6. Fair use
Don't misuse the service: no attempts to reach other people's data, break or overload it, reverse-engineer it beyond what the law allows, scrape it, resell it, or use it for anything unlawful or abusive (including spamming friend invites). We may suspend accounts that do.
7. Our property
The app, its design, models, code and content belong to us or our licensors. Using the service doesn't give you rights in them beyond these terms.
8. Ending
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms; where reasonable, we'll warn you first and let you export your data.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses or for lost data beyond what we could reasonably prevent. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before it or USD 50. None of this excludes liability that can't be excluded by law, such as for gross negligence or your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here, and for important changes, tell you in the app or by email before they apply. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and disputes go to its courts, except where consumer law lets you bring them where you live.
